Insecurity is something that knocks of our self-esteem, no matter what age we are in.
When are surrounded by people who have made their name and surrounded by society who are constant telling us to act in a certain manner, our self-esteem shatters. Where we want to live as our choice, do something that is exciting yet disapproved by the one we trust, we lose a little of self-confidence. There are times when we want to give up, but remember the blues on why you are moving. Follow these simple steps to regain your confidence and self-love practices that will make you happy- Breathing- The value of breathing is valued strong enough. It may seems a small world but the affect it has, is definitely positive. Writing “breathe” on pages and setting as a reminder will keep you motivated to draw out some time and exercise inhale and exhale. Whenever there is an encounter or have a situation that is intimidating, slow breathing can helps you calm the nerves, makes you better at handling the situation. If you find yourself breathing 16 times a day, it will only benefit you in the long run. Listen to music- Music is a therapy on its own. Listening to couple of minutes of music of your choice can be grateful. Whether it`s Jazz or Rock-pop, it will help you. Even in public place, get your earphones if you feel conscious. Take a nap- More than the time, you are cranky or spending late night in watching shows o fight your demons, when a good nap can do much better to you. On a stressful day, lie or sit down or take a nap. Eat healthy- Avoid fry foods or soft drinks, can make you lazy and dependent on them. Eat healthy, full of proteins. It will take couple of seconds to peel of an apple or orange, it will make you feel fresh and it is good for health. New hobbies- Enroll yourself in new activities and hobbies, whether it`s dancing glass or music. It will connect you with the world and be a better person. The more you talk to people, the more your confidence will revert back. Be curious- Learn, read, and ask questions which amuse you. There are lots of things in the world that are weird but too good to be true. Be curious and ask questions, if you ask question the, the lock of your imagination will open and the self-esteem will grow on you. Spend time with nature- The more you surround yourself with positive and green, it will make you calm and serenity will prevail. Thinking about your action will eventually make you ponder, turning you into a better person. You cannot claim self-esteem overnight or in a week, constant practice and doing things that will boost your confidence will make you come out of your shell. Little by little, but yes you will be there. Everyone goes through a time in life, where you hit rock bottom and you feel everything seems lost and confusing, guiding through the path of light will eventually turn you into a person of scars but at the end you are that, who is confident and accepts the way as they are.
